TONY APILADO, ART DIRECTOR / PRODUCER / ACTOR

Tony Apilado was born in the sugar plantations in Kekaha, Kauai, and the last of nine siblings, of Filipino immigrants.

He attended the Art Center School in Los Angeles, Majoring in Advertising.

This took him to Madison Avenue where he worked on many large accounts with several advertising agencies.  His clients include:  Jaguar Cars, Alfa Romeo, Maybelline, Revlon, Charles of the Ritz, Riunite Wine, Gillette.  He specialized in fashion, cosmetics and new product development.

His work has won numerous advertising awards: Clio, Andy, Art Directors Club, and International Film Festival.

As an artist and illustrator, he has published children’s books and has illustrated many ads and magazine articles.

Today, Tony is a freelance designer.  He has worked with Jarrett Hedborg Interior Design.  Clientele are in show biz and internationally renown.
